Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage our financial operations efficiently. The ideal candidate should be proficient in accounting tasks, possess excellent communication and email drafting skills, and be experienced with Tally and other accounting software. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting the financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Accounting:
- Record and manage day-to-day financial transactions in Tally.
- Prepare balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other financial reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable:
- Process invoices, payments, and vendor reconciliations.
- Ensure timely collection of receivables and accurate recording of transactions.
- Email Drafting & Communication:
- Draft professional emails to clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders for financial inquiries, payment follow-ups, and reconciliations.
- Respond promptly to accounting-related queries via email and phone.
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and tax laws.
- Assist in preparing and filing GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Other Tasks:
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Support audits and liaise with auditors as needed.
- Assist in budget preparation and expense analysis.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Tally ERP, Microsoft Excel, and other accounting software.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to draft professional emails and reports.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with GST, TDS filing, and other compliance tasks.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and financial tools.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
