MX Record Lookup
Find out which mail servers handle email for a domain.
What is a MX record?
An MX record (Mail Exchange record) tells the internet which servers accept email for a domain. When someone sends an email to you@example.com, their mail server does an MX lookup on example.com to find out where to deliver the message.
Each MX record has a priority — a lower number means higher priority. Mail servers try the lowest-priority host first and fall back to higher-priority ones if delivery fails. If you need professional email hosting for your domain, Netspace India offers business email hosting plans alongside Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 resales.
Common uses
- Verify your Google Workspace / Microsoft 365 / Zoho MX setup
- Debug email delivery issues
- Check which mail provider a company uses
- Confirm MX changes have published after a migration
