TXT Record Lookup
Check SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and other TXT records for any domain.
What is a TXT record?
A TXT record stores arbitrary text in DNS. In practice it's mostly used for three things: SPF (authorizing which servers can send email as your domain), DKIM (cryptographic email signing), and DMARC (policy for how receivers should handle unauthenticated email). All three are email-authentication records — critical for making sure your emails land in the inbox and not spam.
TXT records are also used for domain-ownership verification by services like Google Search Console, Microsoft 365, Facebook Business, and many others. If you run business email, pairing well-configured TXT records with proper MX records and reliable email hosting is the baseline for good deliverability.
Common uses
- Verify SPF record syntax (v=spf1 ...)
- Check DMARC policy (_dmarc.yourdomain.com)
- Confirm DKIM key is published (selector._domainkey.yourdomain.com)
- Verify ownership-proof records for Google/Microsoft/Facebook
